FAQs

How do I keep up to date with what my child is doing during the day?

All parents/carers will be sent a message via WhatsApp the day before the camp starts. Throughout the day the coaching team will send you pictures of your child taking place in different activities. With your consent pictures will also be on social media for you to see.

What hours does the camp take place?

Drop off starts at 9am and collection at 3pm.

We offer an early drop off at 8.00am and a late pick up until 4pm this requires an extra charge.

What should my child bring?

On the day your child should bring:

  • Re-fillable drinks bottle

  • Lunch box

  • Waterproof coat

  • Spare clothes

What happens about first aid?

Members of the coaching team are paediatric first aid trained and undergo regular training and refreshers. You will be notified via email of any first aid that has taken place.

What happens if my child has a medical condition?

When making your booking please fill in the correct information about your child including their medical details. If your child requires medication during the day you will need to fill out a short medication form. Please let the lead coach know any changes in medical details.

My child has SEND how can you support?

At Harris Sports Coaching we believe every child has the right to create happy memories with friends. Because of this every child no matter their need or disability is welcome at a holiday camp. Collectively staff have over 15 years of experience working with children with additional needs and disabilities. We will provide additional support for your child being able to attend sessions and extra communication to ensure a complete picture is created of your child to ensure correct support is in place. What happens if I’m late picking up my child?

We understand that sometimes you may be running a little late, don’t panic. Just drop us a message and we will be able to help. Please note due to staffing, a small charge will be incurred for delays of more than 15 minutes after the pre-booked collection time. Please see our terms and conditions.

What should children wear?

Children should wear comfortable clothing for sport and activity. Please supply additional layers and a waterproof. It is essential that footwear is suitable for fast paced activity.
